Ahoy Goth enthusiast's.

Yes that's right the Gentleman has arrived from his sunny USA frolicking and  is back to dark cloud central in London with a sleeve full of tricks and a mind crammed of darkness.

What's next?

Well, what can I say? We now know there is a market out there for a psychopathic gentleman and a cockney Goth with tourette syndrome.Oh and Houdini, how could I forget the star of the show (spotlight stealing bitch).

So it has ended. Our first year at the fringe and we have taken A LOT away with us.

It's caught us...

That's right, the dreaded sleep has finally caught myself and the gentleman. We had quite a bit to do yesterday and yet 'zonk' both out cold. Myself, right up until flyering.

So, done three show's now and what have we learnt about ourselves, Dark, Gothic lovers? Thee Gothic Gentlemen are not to everyone's taste. First night, amazing audience, always welcome for a cup of tea. Second night, not the best but found a Gothic Groupie who we like a lot. Third night...well lets just say when we saw our audience we were not surprised to have them WALK OUT! I understand if it's not your cup of blood but that's just RUDE. Let us finish for Bast sake.

Morning All

So, it is now our second full day at the Ed Fringe. Journey wasn't too bad but a little tip. When making a play and have to take everything by train... DON'T TAKE SO MANY FREAKING PROPS. It will hurt your hands/back and make you cranky.

But before we go....

Tonight the Gentleman and I shall be in the very north, surrounded by fellow thespians and people who like to dress for attention.

What do you get if you mix a magical giant lizard with an attitude? Piff the Magic Dragon of course. My favorite styles of comedy are deadpan and sarcasm and this dragon oozes both. Once he hooks you with his famous opening line you can't take your eyes off him for fear of missing the slightest dragon trait.

I've taken over the blog, well just for a day. While Lil' Goth is away in the Welsh country-side, I've (The Gentlemen) have been listening to classical music, sipping a glass of Absinthe & playing with some new magic tricks.

At last...

Come one come all, at last they are here and they are waiting to be bought. Thee Gothic Gentlemen present 'Happy Ever After?' and the tickets are on sale NOW!

Ok, so this entry has nothing to do with 'Happy Ever After?' nor our inspiration's, nor the Gentleman to be honest. This is lil Goth expressing two of her biggest loves combined to make the best thing ever. But then I guess it is kind of MY inspiration. The first love is games. I love computer games, for me the xbox rules all. The second love...BATMAN!

What a fantastic night, filled with murder, mystery, magic and...mirth. On July 6th 'Thee Gothic Gentlemen' went to support our new talented aquatints Morgan and West in their show 'Morgan and West: Crime Solving Magicians' which they shall be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, between the 3rd and the 29th of August at the Gilded Balloon Teviot.

Film making and editing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. So what better way to promote 'Thee Gothic Gentlemen' then to go out on the hottest day, dress head to toe in black with full Gothic make-up, and spend the afternoon in a graveyard, shooting a short video featuring more (but not all) of what we do.

Continuing our search for inspirational blood tricks we found the lovable, northern scamp known as Pete Firman. Like Barry and Stuart, Pete was on of the magicians in 'Dirty Tricks' but was first bought to our attention as Tufty on 'Monkey Magic' (which was how I remembered him and thought was his real name till I watched 'Dirty Tricks').

Nick Pitera, a name some of you will recognize and some will have never have heard  of. After reading this, EVERYONE will be as hooked on him as we are.

2 Magician's

POSTED IN | 00:23
If you haven't already heard, 'Happy Ever After?' is a variety show with acting, music and short films. The Gentleman side of the Gothic Gentlemen dabbles with the fine art of magic so we decided to add it to our already brimming performance. His magic consists of blood and sharp, (potentially) dangerous props so for inspiration we took to the internet.

Welcome blog enthusiasts to the first (proper) Gothic Gentlemen blog entry. It has been left to me, the Goth to our Gothic Gentlemen, to bring you up-dates, musings and interests through blog form. I shall try to be as entertaining and witty as I possibly can but will no doubt end up reading like a student who has been given an essay to write on 'Transcendentalism' and only starting it the night before it's due in, and we have all been there...

Welcome to our blogger site. We shall be sticking all sorts of information up here, including pictures/videos of our performances. Watch out for our inspirational blog's on our favorite tricksters & cabaret acts.
