Thee Gothic Gentlemen

If you haven't already heard, 'Happy Ever After?' is a variety show with acting, music and short films. The Gentleman side of the Gothic Gentlemen dabbles with the fine art of magic so we decided to add it to our already brimming performance. His magic consists of blood and sharp, (potentially) dangerous props so for inspiration we took to the internet.
The first act we looked at amazed and excited us and we have been watching them ever since. Two magicians who love to make an audience wince at their gruesome brand of magic and laugh at their fantastic story telling skills. I am of course referring to Barry and Stuart, the Scottish magicians. As we are now in love we would like to dedicate our first inspiration blog to... Barry and Stuart.


The pair have featured in many shows, such as 'Magick', 'Dirty Tricks' and 'The Magicians' but I have to say I really enjoyed watching 'The Magic of Jesus' and 'Tricks of the Bible' where the pair took miracles such as walking on water and creating the deadly plagues and performed them as magic tricks in front of an audience. If you would like to see these shows they are available on 4od along with 'Dirty Tricks'. So if you like magic and cheeky magicians with good hair and charming personality's I implore you to watch. You guys receive a Gothic salute. Oh, and just to further our support to the pair, Thee Gothic Gentlemen will be seeing Barry and Stuarts 'Show and Tell' in Edinburgh and we couldn't be more excited.
