Thee Gothic Gentlemen

Continuing our search for inspirational blood tricks we found the lovable, northern scamp known as Pete Firman. Like Barry and Stuart, Pete was on of the magicians in 'Dirty Tricks' but was first bought to our attention as Tufty on 'Monkey Magic' (which was how I remembered him and thought was his real name till I watched 'Dirty Tricks').
Watching Pete, we not only studied him for his tricks, but also his amazing gift of gab, the way he can spin a story and keep the audiences attention with both humor and disgust. One such performance I enjoyed was his version of the needle trick. Pete is so convincing at acting in pain you want to look away but can't as you must see what happens till the end.


Once again Thee Gothic Gentlemen wanted to show our appreciation of such a talented magician by seeing Pete's show 'Jiggery Pokery' in Edinburgh and that is exactly what we are doing, and on the same night as Barry and Stuart no less. So good luck Pete. We salute you.
